Board of Directors - Letter to the Owners (June 2026)

Dear Summer House Owners,

As we continue through the year, I would like to take a moment to share several positive developments within our community and provide an update on some important Association initiatives.

Successful 2025 Audit

I am pleased to report that the Association's 2025 financial audit has been successfully completed. The audit reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible financial management, transparency, and accountability. We appreciate the efforts of our Board, management team, and financial professionals who work diligently to ensure the Association's finances remain well-managed and in compliance with all applicable standards.

Enhanced Security at the Golf Side Pool

As part of our continued focus on resident safety and security, new surveillance cameras have been installed at the golf side pool area. These upgrades provide improved monitoring capabilities and help protect Association property while enhancing the safety and peace of mind of our residents and guests. We will continue to evaluate opportunities for security improvements throughout the community.

2026-2027 Property Insurance Renewal

I am pleased to share some positive news regarding the Association's 2026–2027 property insurance renewal. Through a competitive marketing process and favorable underwriting results, the Association secured renewal coverage with an overall premium reduction of approximately 15% compared to the current policy term. This savings reflects the Board's ongoing commitment to prudent financial management while maintaining appropriate insurance protection for our community. We appreciate the efforts of our insurance professionals and will continue to seek opportunities to manage costs responsibly while protecting the Association's assets.

Progress on Building #10 Hardie Board Project

Work has been completed on the Building #10 Hardie Board replacement project. This important investment represents another step in maintaining and improving the long-term durability, appearance, and value of our property. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the residents affected by the construction activities and are encouraged by the progress being made.

Looking Ahead

The Board remains committed to preserving and enhancing our community through sound financial stewardship, ongoing maintenance, and thoughtful capital improvements. We appreciate the support and involvement of our membership as we continue working together to make Summer House a desirable place to live and enjoy.

Last year sure flew by and it’s hard to believe we’re in 2026! Please make sure to recognize the increase in monthly fees. The increase began January 1, 2026.  If you mail a check please make sure to indicate your 15 digit account number on the check so it is applied correctly and mail it directly to our lockbox.
